“I hope all our students and their families are coping during this difficult time. With the country being requested to stay at home for the immediate future we are unfortunately unable to hold our regular studio-based classes. We have been working hard to develop a series of online classes and tasks to keep our students engaged, both mentally & physically, during the closure period. It is lovely to see the smiling faces of our students with the help of technology and we have received some heart-warming feedback from parents. This is far from an ideal situation but we are doing our best to keep our students dancing until such time as we can resume proper classes. Our thoughts are with all those that have been affected and we express our sincere thanks to all those working
Following the government’s updated advice today it is with regret that I am postponing our Student Showcase.I will be in touch with Oasis Academy to arrange an alternative date when we see how the situation develops. With regards to our normal classes – As schools are still open, I will be working as usual this Tuesday. I completely understand if parents would rather not bring their child to dance but those who do choose to come will be encouraged to follow the PHE hygiene precautions. I will re-evaluate over the coming days as government recommendations are issued. In addition, we ask that any student or family that has any symptoms of the virus do not attend classes and follow government guidelines regarding self-isolation. I am also looking at alternative methods of delivering some form of tuition
