We have continued to see an enthusiastic response to our online classes during the spring term. This is obviously not the situation we would like to be in but hopefully now there is a light at the end of the tunnel. We are awaiting updated guidance from the government but have been working hard to put plans in place to return to in-person classes as soon as the regulations allow. If things go to plan this could be from 19th April but we are dependent on the opening of our hired venues. Over the last few months some of our pupils have been taking part in online dance festivals/Southern Dance Class Awards online and have performed fantastically. We had a fantastic response to our online classes during the summer term. Students showed dedication and perseverance with technology to continue with their dance studies from home and made good progress. We decided to take a break over the summer as normal to allow everyone to rest ready for the new term. We are awaiting updated guidance from the government but have been working hard to put plans in place to return to in-person classes as soon as the regulations allow. Unfortunately, at present I am unable to run Junior or Senior Jazz, Greek or Acro classes as these classes contain too many different age groups together and do not conform to government ‘bubbling’ requirements.
